This scene building workshop invites you to think about what place you would like to access at any time through a scene built in an Altoids box.
Drawing on concepts of nostalgia, warmth, refuge, and creativity this workshop draws on your inner artist to build a mini personal sanctuary.
This workshop is presented in collaboration with Lexi Levin, Red Rocks Community College, and DMMDT as part of an independent study by instructor Lexi Levin exploring miniatures, art, and mental health.

All workshop participants will receive a miniature tree (6”-10”) and have access to decorating supplies. If you want to use something particular, bring it with you!

Taming & Maintaining Your American Girl Doll’s Curls

Required Supplies: Please bring at least one AG doll with curly hair. Description: Learn how to properly detangle, style, and maintain your American Girl doll’s CURLY hair! Please bring al least one curly-haired AG doll to learn on. We will be discussing how to manage several different types of curls! You will leave with a goody bag of hair tools, including my FAVORITE kind of brush and my SECRET WEAPON for managing curls.

Abille house, is a light and airy conservatory with an elegant charm. We will be building and finishing the cottage and all of its interior decor including: two chairs, table with tray, side table, candelabra, window frame, and a storage box with flowers. I will be supplying everything you need to build and finish the project. This is an all-day event.

EARLY PREVIEW WORKSHOP
What foods do you want to serve from your very own food truck? You decide along with the name and trim/edge colors of the truck. What is shown is included and a few extras!! You can take the workshop on two different occasions, both will be taught at the Museum. Size is appropriately 12" tall (with sign) x 9" long x 8" wide (with awning); truck is electrified. You will be contacted by instructor about workshop options and tools to bring to class
