The Museum is a sanctuary where the unique is celebrated and a place of learning where history and art meet humanity. We have been entrusted with preserving Colorado's childhood for 40 years, your support will allow us to serve the community for years to come.

On Colorado Gives Day, December 7th were hoping to raise $25,000 1-6
so we can meet out half way mark on our elevator fund. 6-10
The elevator will allow us to open two classroom spaces 10-15
as well as about 5,000 more square feet of gallery space. 15-20
We've slated this gallery space for things like model trains, more of our dolls, visiting exhibits and international toys. 20-30

An elevator is key to opening up our space. Without an elevator, people who have mobility issues won't be able to get up stairs. 0:35:00-43:30
Opening up this space means we can have visiting exhibits 43:30-49
highlighting special collections from local collectors and from people across the country. 49-55
Everyone of these five doors opens into more exhibit space, once we get an elevator. 55*1:02:30

This space is going to be a classroom, flex room, multi purpose space. 1:11:00 - 1:18:00
When we've added an elevator, we'll be able to open this space. 1:18:00-1:22:29
This space will have things like hands on exhibits, more toy exhibits but also 1:22:29-1:28:00
when we have big classes, expand into here or if we have tiny events we will be able to set up tables for just 5-10 people. 1:28:00-1:38:00
Once this space is fully activated by elevator access we will be able to restart children and family programming 1:38:00 - 1:45:00
We'll be able to host our mini meetups, we'll be able to host senior citizen groups and their clubs. 1:45:00 1:52:00
We'll even be able to start our Dungeon and Dragons 101 Program again. 1:52:00-1:57:00
The elevator is so important so we can meet ADA requirements. 1:57:00-2:03:00
Anyone who has trouble walking up stairs, who uses a wheelchair or assistive device needs an elevator. 2:03:00 - 2:12:00

Colorado Gives Day is extra important for the museum this year. 2:15:00-2:18:00
We're trying to raise 25,000 by the end of the year to meet our halfway mark on our elevator fund. 2:19:00-2:26:00
An elevator fund will allow us to open up the FULL building so we have 9,000 square feet of public space.
That is life changing for our organization.
