- Put on exciting and educational arts programs for children
from underserved communities.
- Host a monthly free day where members of the community can
see the Museum free of charge and children can take part in
activities.
- Present interesting new
exhibits.
- Maintain our artifacts and
manage our considerable collection.
- Maintain the beautiful yard
around the Museum.
- Invite interns to learn about
what it takes to run a small Museum.
- And so much more!

Artifacts
The Museum
gladly accepts donations of miniatures, dolls and toys. Do you have a dollhouse that
you cannot take care of any more? Does your family have a
collection of miniatures, dolls and toys of cultural or historical
significance? We will
be happy to discuss the possibility of finding your treasured items
a new home in our collection.
Criteria for accepting donations:
·
We
do not accept duplicates of artifacts we already
own.
·
We
only accept artifacts that are in excellent
condition*
·
We
do not pay to have your items shipped to us, nor do we, in most
cases, pick items up from you.
·
We
only accept artifacts after discussing them with the donor
first. Do not drop
items off without discussing the donation with a Museum staff
member.
*At certain
times exceptions are made to this rule if an artifact fills a hole
in our collection or if an artifact is of particular importance.
Supplies
The museum
gladly accepts in-kind donations. We need office supplies,
cleaning supplies, supplies for our education workshops and
